Motorola Unveiled P30 With Wide Notch, Dual Rear-Cameras, Android Oreo and More

Motorola has unveiled Moto P30, P30 Play and P30 Note last week, a new series of smartphones, after having listed on the official Chinese website, Lenovo has officially launched the Moto P30 on Wednesday. There is no news about the other two devices but the Moto P30 was the only device to have been launched thus far, with no word on when the other two devices will be made available for purchase.

Moto P30  Key Specifications 

The P30 has a 6.2-inch Full HD display with 19:9 aspect ratio, and it is powered by mediocre Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 SoC. The device comes with 6GB of RAM and has two storage option  64GB or 128GB of internal storage which can be expended with support for microSD card. When we talk about connectivity, there’s a 3.5mm audio port, USB Type-C, and a fingerprint scanner marked with Motorola’s logo. The device runs on Android Oreo 8.0 with ZUI 4.0 on top and carries a 3,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

You might be wondering what about the camera, cause that is the most important except a smartphone. Well on the photography side of things the, phone sports a dual-camera (16MP+5MP) setup on the rear and a single 12MP camera on the front. While the main lens on the back has a f/1.8 aperture, while the second one comes with a f/2.2 aperture. The camera is accompanied by an LED flash and offers PDAF, 1080p video shooting and portrait mode. The selfie shooter, meanwhile, has 1.25µm sized pixels and is accompanied by a f/2.0 lens.

Price and Availability

The Moto P30 has only been launched in China, and there’s no word on when (or if) it will see a global release going forward. It will come in three colors – Ice White, Bright Black and Aurora Blue – and has been priced at 1,999 yuan (around Rs. 20,350) for the 64GB model and 2099 yuan (around Rs. 21,250) for the 128GB version.
